Neurology Physical Therapist (Associate Professor)

The Department of Neurology, Joe R. & Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine, is seeking a full-time physical therapist with excellent clinical skills and clinical research experience to join the faculty. The position will include an appointment with the Department of Physical Therapy at the School of Health Professions.

As an integral member of the neurology care team, the physical therapist will provide clinical care to a diverse patient population as part of the multidisciplinary team. Patients served include those with neuromuscular disorders (Muscular Dystrophy/ALS), Parkinson’s Disease and other movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, and stroke. The role will also include participation in clinical trials that are primarily neuromuscular-focused, in addition to their own research.

Applicants must have a Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy and be eligible for a Texas license.
