The Radiology Supervisor oversees radiology services, directing and coordinating radiology and diagnostic imaging procedures. Helps manage imaging equipment operations, including x-ray machines, fluoroscopes, CT scanners, and MRI equipment. Responsibilities include managing daily workflow, arranging staff coverage, and planning schedules to ensure assignments are distributed appropriately with adequate staffing, space, and facilities for effective duty performance.

Schedule: Second Shift.

Education:

Technical School- Radiologic Technology Required.

Licenses & Certifications:

AART American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Required.

MRT Medical Radiologic Technologist - Required.

BLS Basic Life Support - required.


  • Oversees radiology daily workflow. Makes arrangements for department staff coverage. Plan and schedule work for the assigned unit ensuring proper distribution of assignments and adequate staffing, space and facilities for subsequent performance of duties.
  • Establishes and maintains working rapport with specialty clinics/providers. Liaison between providers, staff, service, internal and external customers.
  • Collaborates with on-site medical physicists on the Quality Assurance program.
  • Collaborates in interview proess, performance review, coordinating systems and imaging equipment for new technologists.
  • Maintains currents records of equipment maintenance and services. Schedules Physicist equipment performance evaluations to meet state and ACR requirements. Ensures compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
  • Reviews and establishes research protocol with radiologists, technologists, and research coordinator.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
