Under general supervision, supports daily production operations across print, promotional, and specialty product environments. Executes high-quality print orders across a range of products while ensuring efficiency, consistency, and customer satisfaction. Maintains production continuity, supports cross-functional workflows, and reduces single-point dependency within specialized production areas such as apparel decoration, wide-format output, and specialty fabrication.
- Working knowledge of print production processes, including multi-color output; experience with press equipment is preferred, with the ability to learn and adapt to various production technologies.
- Basic understanding of apparel decoration methods, including embroidery; willingness and ability to be trained in specialized techniques as needed.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
- Solid mathematical skills, including measurements, percentages, and interpretation of production specifications.
- Strong visual acuity, including color differentiation, along with hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity required for detailed production work.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and support a service-oriented environment.
EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or GED is required.
EXPERIENCE:
- Three (3) years experience in the operation and maintenance of offset and other lithographic equipment is required.
- Set up and operate production equipment, including single-sheet or web-fed presses, making precise adjustments to plates, rollers, ink systems, and materials to ensure high-quality output
- Execute production jobs in a fast-paced environment, consistently meeting specifications, deadlines, and approved color standards
- Monitor equipment and production runs to maintain quality, consistency, and efficiency across all finished products
- Support apparel production, including embroidery operations, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely completion; participate in cross-training to expand capabilities in this area as needed
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including cleaning, oiling, adjusting, and minor repairs to sustain operational performance
- Handle materials such as inks, chemicals, and cleaning solvents in accordance with safety and operational standards
- Contribute to overall workflow efficiency by supporting multiple production areas and adapting to shifting priorities
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
