Enforce jobsite safety programs and incident reporting procedures.
Conduct regular safety inspections and toolbox talks.
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and project-specific safety plans.
Schedule and coordinate subcontractor activities and material deliveries.
Monitor project progress and identify potential issues.
Conduct daily jobsite inspections to assess quality and productivity.
Review shop drawings and submittals for conformance to project specifications.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, photos, and inspection records.
Obtain necessary permits and inspections from local authorities.
Manage project closeout, including punch list completion and final inspections.
Lead and mentor project teams, including assistant superintendents and project managers.
Provide guidance and support to field personnel.
Foster positive relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
Manage labor and material costs, including timekeeping and cost coding.
Prepare and submit project reports.
Coordinate with the project management team on budget and schedule updates.
Complete required training and certifications.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
7-10+ years of experience in commercial construction, with a focus on retail projects
Strong leadership and communication skills
Proficiency in construction safety practices and OSHA regulations
Knowledge of construction estimating, scheduling, and project management principles
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Valid driver's license
OSHA 30 certification (preferred)
Confined Space Awareness, Defensive Driving, First Aid/CPR/AED certifications (preferred)
