We're looking for a motivated and experienced Commercial Concrete Estimator to join our growing team. This role is crucial for our continued success, working directly with a Project Manager to prepare accurate and detailed bids for a variety of projects. We are currently implementing new systems for tracking, accounting, and estimating, and this is a great opportunity to be a part of our evolution.

As a Commercial Concrete Estimator, you'll be responsible for developing comprehensive and competitive bids. Your primary duties will include:

• Utilizing your knowledge of concrete construction, you'll create accurate bids by understanding how to properly assemble the work, not just by using square footage estimates.
• Work one-on-one with a dedicated Project Manager, ensuring seamless communication and a cohesive approach to projects from the bidding phase through completion.
• Review blueprints, specifications, and other documents to understand the full scope of a project and identify all costs and labor requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotes for materials and specialized services.

Qualifications & Experience

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial concrete construction and a deep understanding of the building process.

• Prior experience in suspended work, cast-in-place concrete, tilt walls, retaining walls, and foundations is essential.
• Proficient in all aspects of estimating and bidding. We are seeking someone who can build a bid from the ground up, not just rely on high-level metrics.
• Experience utilizing On Screen Takeoff (OST) and MS Excel
• Ability to carefully analyze plans and account for all project components is a must.
