Lead Mechanical Design and Support Engineer

Are you an engineer who thrives on turning innovative ideas into reality? We're seeking a Lead Mechanical Design and Support Engineer to drive our product lifecycle from concept to customer delivery. This role is perfect for a hands-on problem-solver who enjoys a mix of design work, technical troubleshooting, and collaborative team leadership.

In this role, you will:

• Innovate and Redesign: Lead the design and development of both new and existing products, ensuring they are at the forefront of the industry.
• Be a Technical Authority: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for our customers, providing essential guidance and support to resolve issues quickly.
• Ensure Quality: Develop and enforce quality control guidelines, investigate design issues, and spearhead improvements to make our products safer, more efficient, and cost-effective.
• Collaborate on Solutions: Work directly with our production team to troubleshoot manufacturing challenges and implement smart cost-reduction strategies.
• Document and Educate: Create and maintain detailed drawings, operational manuals, and technical reports to support our products.
• Travel and Troubleshoot: Occasionally travel to customer sites to assist with equipment startups and provide expert support.

What you'll bring:

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering OR a minimum of three years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in computer-assisted drafting (CAD) software.
• A strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, electrical schematics, and PLC logic.
• Experience with product manuals and technical documentation.
• A proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
