Hospice Business Development Manager (Healthcare Sales)
Base Salary: $65,000–$80,000 + Bonus Structure
A growing hospice provider in the San Antonio area is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive census growth and expand referral partnerships. This is a sales-focused role ideal for a relationship-driven professional with established healthcare connections and a strong understanding of the hospice industry.
We are looking for a seasoned hospice or home health sales professional who brings an existing book of business and can confidently build, grow, and maintain referral relationships while guiding families through the hospice transition process with compassion and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and expand referral sources through strategic relationship-building
- Conduct regular in-person visits with physicians, facilities, and community partners
- Lead educational in-services and community outreach initiatives
- Educate patients and families on hospice services and expectations
- Personally manage consent paperwork and support families during care transitions
- Collaborate closely with clinical operations to ensure seamless admissions
Qualifications:
- Required: Hospice, home health, or healthcare marketing/sales experience
- Established referral network / book of business in the San Antonio market
- Strong sales performance history with the ability to manage KPIs
- Professional, compassionate communicator comfortable working directly with families
Compensation & Benefits:
- $65K–$80K base salary (DOE)
- $1,000 bonus for every 8 patients admitted
