Position Overview

Seeking an entry-level Field Technician to support onsite IT services for business and residential clients across the San Antonio area. This role is hands-on and field-based, focusing on installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems including networks, devices, and security solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate directly with clients to explain issues and solutions in a clear, professional manner.
• Perform onsite support for IT systems including PCs, servers, printers, cameras, and network equipment.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues for clients in the field.
• Support internet setup, firewall configurations, and basic network infrastructure.
• Install and maintain security-related systems including backups, antivirus, and monitoring tools.
• Provide onsite and occasional remote technical support to ensure systems remain operational.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of IT, technical support, or field service experience (or relevant education/training).
• Computer hardware and operating systems (Windows/Mac).
• Networking fundamentals (IP, routers, switches, Wi-Fi).
• Low-voltage cabling and device installation (preferred).
• Familiarity with troubleshooting common IT issues.
