Lead Employee Relations Business Partner
Dynamic HR leader responsible for driving day-to-day human resources operations for large, high-volume departments supporting a workforce of 800+ employees. Serves as a strategic partner to senior leadership, aligning HR initiatives with business goals while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
Lead and support multiple departments as the primary HR liaison, delivering guidance across employee relations, talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, and workforce development
Supervise and develop HR staff, managing priorities in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
Resolve complex employee relations matters and provide coaching to leaders on performance management and organizational effectiveness
Partner with executive leadership on workforce planning, reorganizations, and succession strategies to support long-term growth
Analyze HR metrics and workforce data to identify trends, improve processes, and implement impactful programs
Drive HR strategy by translating business objectives into actionable people initiatives and policies
Collaborate with union representatives and department leaders to maintain strong labor relations and compliance
Design and implement streamlined HR processes that enhance efficiency, consistency, and employee experience
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 4+ years of progressive HR experience
- Municipal, corporate, or related environments
- Employee headcount over 800
