Inside Sales Team Lead
Onsite - No Remote
Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, Occasional Saturdays
We’re seeking a driven, sales-minded professional to help build and lead our inside sales operation from the ground up. This role will begin as a hands-on individual contributor focused on outbound sales activity, lead generation, customer engagement, and process development, with a clear path into managing and scaling a call center team.
The ideal candidate is highly motivated, organized, and entrepreneurial — someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building structure, and understands how to drive results through both personal performance and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound sales calls and follow-up activities to generate new business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through consistent communication
- Develop sales scripts, workflows, and call strategies to improve performance and efficiency
- Track sales activity, KPIs, and pipeline management within CRM systems
- Identify process improvements and help establish best practices for the inside sales function
- Collaborate with leadership to develop scalable call center operations
- Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training future sales representatives
- Transition into a leadership role managing daily call center operations, team performance, coaching, and accountability
- Foster a high-energy, results-driven sales culture focused on growth and customer service
Ideal Background
- Inside sales, outbound calling, call center, or business development experience
- Strong sales mentality with a proven ability to influence and close
- Experience building processes or helping grow a team is highly preferred
- Leadership potential with the ability to motivate and coach others
- Comfortable working in a startup-style or evolving environment
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- CRM and sales tracking experience preferred
