Job Summary
Join a collaborative IT support team to provide technical assistance and ensure the smooth operation of computing systems and related equipment. This role involves direct interaction with users, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, and maintaining system performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup, repair, and maintenance of computers, laptops, and tablets alongside a knowledgeable IT team.
- Schedule and coordinate system upgrades or replacements in collaboration with end users.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving Windows OS, hardware components, and desktop applications.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 – 2 years of IT support experience preferred.
- Preferred: Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft, or other industry-recognized credentials.
- Proficient in supporting Windows environments, computer peripherals, and basic networking equipment.
- Skilled in software installation and issue resolution, including MS Office, Adobe, and web browsers.
- Understanding of TCP/IP networking, IP addressing, and DNS troubleshooting.
