Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the monthly close and financial reporting process in accordance with US GAAP, ensuring accurate and timely results.
  • Prepare and review month-end and annual financial reports and management narratives.
  • Monitor budgets, project expenditures, and budget-to-actual results, analyzing variances and recommending corrective actions.
  • Support the annual budgeting process and partner with budget owners to align financial plans with organizational goals.
  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls, SOX compliance, accounting procedures, and financial processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting systems, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
  • Supervise, coach, and support accounting staff while maintaining strong team performance.
  • Participate in special projects and provide financial analysis and recommendations to leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or CPA exam eligible preferred.
  • 5–10 years of accounting experience; public accounting experience is a plus.
  • Experience in power generation, renewable energy, manufacturing, or similar industries preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Oracle.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Previous supervisory or management experience.
