CONTROLLER | LEAD FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE & GROWTH

Take the lead in driving the financial performance of a dynamic business unit. As Controller, you’ll play a key role in financial strategy, reporting, budgeting, project cost management, internal controls, and business planning while partnering directly with senior leadership.

ON-SITE POSITION WORKING IN SAN ANTONIO— NO REMOTE OR HYBRID OPTION
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead multi-company consolidations, month-end close, and financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP.
- Partner with senior leadership on budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and strategic decisions.
- Oversee project costs and budgets, analyze financial performance, and identify opportunities to improve results.
- Strengthen SOX internal controls, accounting processes, and reporting systems.
- Manage financial relationships involving cash flow, credit facilities, and loan covenants.
- Deliver meaningful financial analysis and recommendations that help leadership make informed business decisions.
- Identify opportunities to increase efficiency, accuracy, and financial visibility.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of up to three accounting professionals.
- Take ownership of special projects and initiatives that support business growth and performance.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and active CPA required.
- 10+ years of US GAAP accounting experience.
- Strong industry experience in power generation, renewable energy, or manufacturing highly preferred.
- Project cost management and project accounting experience highly preferred.
- Background in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, consolidations, and SOX controls.
- Strong Excel and Oracle experience.
- Previous accounting leadership or management experience.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability and willingness to work onsite every day; remote and hybrid work are not available for this position.
