New mortgage banking trainees at Trinity begin their careers as analysts. As a matter of policy, an analyst will spend time with every experienced producer at the company and will work on all property types and in all markets. The analyst’s job is an intellectually challenging position that includes numbers analysis, the preparation of write ups, photography, site visits, and market research. An analyst will be included in meetings, negotiations, business events, corporate entertainment and travel. An analyst can move into production as they gain experience and develop an inclination to take on the responsibilities of loan origination. More often than not, the transition is gradual. Principals of the firm take a personal interest in each analyst’s transition. Trinity hires individuals who demonstrate a high aptitude for the commercial mortgage banking business.
