Position Description: Partner with xPL fabrication facility (“plant”) leadership and superintendents to execute safe, high-quality, and efficient production operations in alignment with plant goals and customer requirements. Lead daily production planning, workflow coordination, and team development for schedule adherence, maximize throughput, and establish zero-incident culture. Serve as key resource to engage teams to deliver consistent, reliable, and on-time fabrication output. Essential Duties Key Responsibilities: Lead, direct, and manage daily production activities of fabrication superintendents and instill adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards. Plan and coordinate manpower, equipment, and material resources to meet established production schedules and optimize workflow. Drive proactive safety engagement in partnership with Safety team, including daily toolbox talks, hazard assessments, and incident prevention activities. Collaborate with xPL Quality Control (QC) team to maintain first-pass quality and prevent rework, validating production meets specifications and customer requirements. Monitor and analyze production performance metrics, including throughput, cycle time, downtime, and resource utilization; implement corrective actions to support performance. Deliver and maintain communication with plant leadership to align short-term production needs with long-term capacity planning and capital investment strategies. Support Superintendent team development through coaching, training, and performance management; foster culture of accountability and teamwork. Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, and Maintenance teams to resolve production constraints and maintain operational flow. Oversee clean and organized production areas for compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in workflow efficiency, equipment utilization, and process standardization. Facilitate pre-shift planning meetings with superintendents to review daily objectives, safety priorities, and quality expectations. Participate in budget planning and cost control efforts related to production operations. Support onboarding and training of new employees to ensure skill readiness and adherence to company standards. Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.
