This role is responsible for protecting life and property on all property owned, leased, rented, or otherwise under the jurisdiction and control of University Health.Key responsibilities include:Preventing crime and suppressing disturbancesInvestigating criminal offenses and arresting offendersEnforcing criminal laws, Health System policies, rules, and regulationsEnsuring the safety, welfare, and protection of patients, guests, staff, and propertyExercising independent judgment in emergency and non-emergency situationsPromoting the Health System’s Guest Relations Policy through professional and respectful interactionsCareer Ladder OpportunitiesUniversity Health offers promotion opportunities for Police Officers who meet certain career ladder criteria.
