University Health is a large academic referral center which includes designations of Comprehensive Stroke Center, HeartCARE Center, Level 1 Trauma Center for Adults and Pediatrics, Level 4 NICU, Level 4 Maternal Care, ECMO services for adult and pediatric populations with an ELSO Gold Level Award, the leading liver transplant program in the country, and an IDSA Antimicrobial Stewardship Center of ExcellenceUniversity Health has also been named in the USA Today Top Workplaces for the last five consecutive yearsThe Emergency Medicine Clinical Pharmacist will join a team of 11 full-time emergency medicine pharmacists and two emergency medicine pharmacy residents caring for pediatric and adult patients acrossThe Emergency Medicine Clinical Pharmacist will rotate through 10-hour shifts (0600-1630, 0800-1830, or 1000-2030) and evening shifts (1200-2230) and a weekend rotation that includes up to three 12-hour weekend shifts out of every seven weekends. Assigned weekend shifts may include a full weekend (Saturday and Sunday) and/or half weekend (Saturday or Sunday) depending on rotation.Professional development opportunities include but are not limited to:Formal and informal pharmacotherapy education to pharmacists, pharmacy residents and interns, medical students, interns, residents, and facultyPerform or precept drug use evaluations, process improvement projects, pharmacotherapy research project, pharmacotherapy rounds or continuing educationParticipation in Pharmacy & Therapeutic Sub-Committee(
