POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs procedures for testing or analysis on specimens submitted to the laboratory.

EDUCATION
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in medical technology, clinical laboratory, chemical, physical, or biological scienceis required

OR

High school graduate or equivalent AND successfully completed military training of 50 or more weeks and served as a medical laboratory specialist.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION
Certification by the American Society for ClinicalPathology Board of Certification (ASCP-BOC) or American Medical Technologists (AMT) is required.
