Open Rank - General Internal Medicine Physician

The Division of General Medicine in the Department of Medicine, Joe R & Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio (UTHSA) is recruiting an Assistant Professor/Clinical or Associate Professor/Clinical faculty position to work in our outpatient General Medicine Clinic on the University Health Systems Robert B. Green campus. This position involves overseeing Internal Medicine residents in outpatient clinical activities and providing direct care for primary care patients. Qualified candidates should be excellent clinicians-educators with experience in caring for adults with complex, chronic medical conditions.

Candidates must have an MD or DO (or foreign equivalent), have completed 3 years of ACGME certified Internal Medicine residency and board eligible or certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. In addition, candidates must be licensed by the Texas Medical Board of Examiners for certification by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and for credentials with UT Health San Antonio and University Hospital.
