Open Rank (Assistant, Associate, Professor Clinical)

The UT Health San Antonio, School of Dentistry is looking for a full-time individual who is a caring, driven and confident dentist to join our team. This position will hold an Assistant, Associate or Professor/Clinical title.

The candidate should have experience in clinical and/or pre-clinical teaching and will be required to teach didactic and clinical courses in Oral Medicine and related topics. The candidate will provide other teaching activities to fulfill a full-time teaching position such as history taking, physical evaluation, oral medicine, orofacial pain, and the management of the medically compromised patient. Interested applicants should be proficient in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, digital imaging, and have comprehensive knowledge of primary dental care, coding, and standard documentation guidelines.

All interested applicants should have a DDS/DMD degree from a CODA-accredited dental school or foreign equivalent. Completion of an accredited residency in oral medicine (CODA-accredited oral medicine program) is required. Oral medicine board eligibility is required, and board certification is preferred. The applicant must have a current Texas State Dental license or be eligible for one. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
