Responsible for determining goals, vision and marketing strategy for the recruiting efforts of the UT Health Science Center's health career programs and to increase student and community awareness of scientific endeavors and accomplishments at the UT Health Science Center.

Responsibilities

Ability to think strategically, display excellent judgment and make sound decisions.
Knowledge of graduate program admissions and recruitment
Ability to lead, direct and contribute to initiatives and processes within the school and institution while creating a collaborative and respectful team environment and improving workflows.
Comprehensive knowledge of strategic communications, public relations, marketing, branding, community affairs and engagement.
Content creation for print, web, and social media as well as strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
High tolerance for change and the ability to work on several projects and assignments concurrently.
Applies knowledge of business and the marketplace to advance the organization's goals.
Experience in successfully building teams, managing staff, and achieving work plan goals, priorities and deadlines.

Qualifications

Design and execute integrated marketing and communications plans that support GSBS priorities and align with UT San Antonio’s brand strategy.
Collaborate with institutional marketing teams on creative campaigns, oversee project timelines, and ensure high-quality deliverables across print, digital, and event-based platforms.
Produce compelling content for websites, newsletters, blogs, social media, and recruitment collateral, while maintaining consistent messaging and editorial standards.
Work collaboratively with GSBS staff, GSBS Director of Admissions, graduate program leadership, and recruitment committees to identify recruitment needs and goals, define target audiences, and select effective promotional tactics.
Represent GSBS at local, state, and national conferences and recruitment events, and maintain an updated recruitment website to provide accurate program information.
Develop and implement the GSBS social media strategy, partnering with student organizations and academic programs to highlight achievements and opportunities.
Performs all other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

Bachelor's degree in health professional field, Education, Science or a related field required Five (5) years of job related experience is required.
