Medical Office Receptionist-Associate (ADM Front End Float Pool)

Under direct supervision, provides office support in a clinical office to ensure patient satisfaction.

Performs all front office duties including checking in patients, ensuring completion of all necessary forms for registration, collecting copays, assisting patients when needed, and answering phones. Prepares patient charts, obtains medical record requests, and makes phone calls to request medical records from outside providers. Creates new and follow up appointments as needed for patients; obtains referrals and authorization for visits and testing when necessary. Monitors the flow of patients and keeps patients and families informed of waiting times. Performs all other duties as assigned.

Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
