Social Worker (Community Recovery Research and Training)

The Social Worker will facilitate workshops (in-person, virtual, and webinar based), creating and adapting training curriculum, and evaluating training outcomes. The position also includes facilitating and providing training support across Texas in multiple topics, including Cognitive Adaptation Training (CAT), Adult Mental Health First Aid (MHFA), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• Assist in the execution of training workshops and projects that deliver behavioral health education and support.
• Develop, adapt, and deliver evidence-based behavioral health training curricula to diverse audiences.
• Independently facilitate workshops, webinars, and fidelity support.
• Collect, analyze, and report training data to support evaluation.
• Provide backup coverage for team members and attend required trainings and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work is required.

Licenses/Certifications:

Licensed as a Social Worker in Texas (LMSW, LSW) required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to speak in front of an audience and clearly communicate complex ideas to a wide variety of disciplines.
