Under direct supervision, responsible for providing routine clerical and technical support for a research facility.
Possesses fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of particular field of specialization.
Ability to communicate and liaise with research participants, research team members, and other relevant partner/key stakeholders.
Ability to organize and coordinate work within schedule constraints and handle emergent requirements in a timely manner.
Ability to perform multiple requests simultaneously while maintaining quality and accuracy.
Ability to adapt to a controlled laboratory environment and learn new software or database systems.
Good interpersonal skills; comfortable interacting on a daily basis with supervisors and other staff.
Education: Bachelors Degree is Preferred.
Collects and processes research data.
Assists in the clerical and technical duties connected with research.
Assists with data entry from laboratory reports, survey forms and data collection forms.
Carries out general laboratory maintenance.
Prepares and sets up equipment and materials for course instruction.
Assists in searching source materials for research projects.
Performs routine library work, including finding literature and copying articles.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
