Under general supervision, responsible for providing skilled craftsmanship as a plumber and assisting with all duties related to the assignment.

• Knowledge of all phases of plumbing and sewer.
• Knowledge of rules and regulations for sanitation requirements.
• Knowledge and usage of measuring and testing devices, hand and power tools.
• Basic math abilities, mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills.
• Strong problem solving, communication and organizational skills.

• High school diploma or GED is required.

• Journeyman's license is required.
• Valid TX Driver's License is required - must have a clear driving record.

1. Completes assigned tasks to include installation, maintenance, remodeling, repair, and servicing of plumbing systems.
2. Performs plumbing work in the construction, alteration, repair and maintenance of buildings.
3. Installs pipes, sinks, traps, washbowls, toilet fittings, drains, special laboratory sinks and drain tables.
4. Repairs and maintains valves, faucets, traps, sinks and vents.
5. 5 Connects hot water heaters, gas heaters, furnaces and tests for safety.
6. Repairs sewer pipes.
7. Unstops clogged lines.
8. Performs minor carpentry, digging and cleanup duties related to the assignment.
9. Performs all other duties as assigned.
