The Clinical Supply Chain Analyst will ensure the accuracy and efficiency of the clinical item master by resolving pricing and contract discrepancies, maintaining data integrity, and collaborating with various teams. They will monitor pricing exceptions, vendor performance, and contract compliance, performing root cause analysis and resolution for any issues.


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct root cause analysis.

  • Proficiency in supply chain management software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and Microsoft Excel.

  • Knowledge of databases and database queries.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Remote work with occasional travel to vendor sites or onsite meetings as needed.
  • May require extended hours during critical project phases or peak workload periods.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree is required.

  • Identify, investigate, and respond to pricing and contract discrepancies within the clinical item master, which is the item database used for ordering clinical supplies .

  • Conduct root cause analysis to uncover systemic issues and recommend effective solutions.

  • Partner with Contract Management to ensure alignment between negotiated terms and system records.

  • Proactively monitor pricing exception reports to ensure compliance with established contracts, to include pricing updates as necessary.

  • Evaluate vendor performance against key metrics and escalate issues as needed.

  • Collaborate with members of the Informatics team to maintain data accuracy and consistency in the clinical item master.

  • Work closely with Strategic Sourcing to activate contracts and identify cost savings opportunities.

  • Liaise with Purchasing to ensure timely and accurate distribution of purchase orders and implementation of best practices.

  • Support cross-departmental efforts to optimize supply chain operations and maintain data integrity.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance the efficiency of pricing and contract management.

  • Develop and document standard operating procedures related to pricing exception management and data integrity.

  • Participate in system enhancements or updates to improve item master functionality.

  • Generate regular and ad hoc reports on pricing exceptions, vendor performance, and data quality.

  • Analyze trends and provide insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
