The Senior Relationship Banker is an experienced cross-trained leader who handles a wide variety of responsibilities at Vantage Bank Texas. His/her principal tasks are to open deposit accounts, consumer loans, handle customer inquiries and maintenance requests, explain the institutions products and services with an obsession in delivering an excellent customer experience. He/she assists and supports the teller line by fulfilling the teller position’s essential duties and responsibilities on an “on-demand” basis. He/she is passionate about improving customer’s lives through financial solutions offered by Vantage Bank Texas, education and advice. Services would include loans, deposits, treasury management, and all other applicable banking services. Responsible for relationship management, deposit portfolio growth and delivering an excellent client experience. Serve as a trusted advisor; collaborate with a team of product partners utilizing the One Bank Sales Strategy to understand and satisfy the clients'/prospects’ holistic business needs. He/she will support the Banking Center Manager in the successful managing of Vantage Bank Texas Banking Center sales, operations, maintenance, security, and personnel. He/she will support the Banking Center Manger to see that the banking center’s staff; adheres to regulatory and audit compliance, discover financial needs, provide tailor product-service recommendations to all customers or potential customers, while delivering an excellent customer experience.
The Senior Relationship Manager provides input and feedback and supports all members of the branch team, including the Branch Manager on very complex issues or concerns. The Senior Relationship Manager will own and/or support the Branch Manager with healthy interdepartmental communication on resolving customer matters, onboarding new services, and revising current services for customers
ESSENTIAL DUTIES

- Ability to work accurately and deal with job pressure and deadlines.
- Contribute to the fulfillment of department and company objectives and goals.
- Perform as a team member in allocating and coordinating the workflow.
- Ability to perform Teller and Relationship Banker duties as needed.
- Support banking center personnel to ensure they are properly trained and cross trained.
- Maintain open communication and reporting with the Banking Center Manager.
- Support in ensuring all Policies and Procedures are followed for the various areas (i.e.; New Accounts, Tellers, etc.).
- Ability to handle customer complaints and inquiries and provide an excellent customer experience.
- If the Banking Center is unavailable, conduct meetings to update banking center personnel on products, services, promotions, etc.
- Open new accounts.
- Responsible assisting in the monitoring of DDA and COD exceptions.
- Assures compliance with all Bank policies and procedures, as well as all applicable state and federal banking regulations, which include BSA, CIP, and OFAC requirements as they apply to this particular job title/position.
- Support the Banking Center Manager with the integration of the overall branch unit (tellers/new accounts) in working together towards established goals and objectives.
- Identify and establish strategies which will emphasize prospecting methods for generating net business with equal emphasis on business retention.
- Assure high levels of product knowledge.
- Proactively reinforce efforts to carry out cross-selling objectives with staff.
- Coach staff to work as a team towards established branch and corporate goals.
- Actively monitor on a consistent basis status of sales efforts.
- Assure a consistently high level of professionalism, business etiquette, and overall positive attitude towards our customers.

BANK SECRECY ACT (BSA)
All employees of Vantage Bank Texas, herein referenced to as the “Bank”, must comply with the terms of the BSA Policy upon acceptance of this position. The primary responsibility for enforcement of this policy and its operating procedures rests with the BSA/AML/OFAC Officer. However, it is the responsibility of each employee to take the required BSA training modules and become familiar with and adhere to the Bank Secrecy Act, Anti Money Laundering and Office of Foreign Asset Control Policy.
These specifications are general guidelines based on the minimum experience normally considered essential to the satisfactory performance of this position. - Bachelor’s Degree preferred in a related field (5 years of experience in banking operations may commensurate for degree)
- Minimum of 3 years sales experience
- Direct employee management experience preferred.
- Extensive knowledge relating to banking regulations.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Sales oriented.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
- Bilingual skills a plus.
- Acute attention to detail.
- Versatility, flexibility and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
- Proven ability to build new and existing client business and provide a positive client experience.
- Ability to assess client needs, drivers of profitability, and corporate/personal life cycle optimizing financial solutions. Uses effective problem solving and analytical skills with ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks. Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills, with emphasis on experience in face-to-face negotiations and group presentations.

- Proven ability to work and lead a team-based sales environment.
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of customer information.
- Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office software; familiarity with prospecting and CRM sales tools preferred.
