This position ensures products are delivered on time, as ordered, and within the required specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Supports contractually agreed upon service level requirements with all distributors and distribution centers.
• Monitors and reports all product supply issues within the supply chain operation. Maintains effective relationships with existing suppliers, and distributors.
• Maintains effective relationships with existing suppliers and distributors.
• Familiar with supplier capabilities, possesses a clear understanding of how the product is used in the company’s operations.
• Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree, Supply Chain Management or equivalent work experience required

Experience:

• Entry Level Management Position

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Demonstrated knowledge of Whataburger history, the company's geographic footprint, basic consumer demographics, and key brand attributes
• Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point and Visio (as applicable)
• Proficiency in JD Edwards/Workday (as applicable)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to communicate, influence, and negotiate decisions while motivating assigned staff
• Ability to work in a team environment

Working Conditions/Travel Requirements:

• Expected to work the necessary time to satisfactorily fulfill job responsibilities
• Must be able to report to work timely and as required by operational/business needs
• Must be able to work a full-time schedule and work outside of normal business hours when necessary
• Some travel, both locally and long distances, (including air travel), to worksites, meeting sites, and other locations may be necessary
