This position carries out daily activities such as accounts payable, invoice processing resolution, vendor statement reconciliation, and aging review/analysis and vendor management.

Responsibilities:

  • Plays a key role in the daily operation of the accounts payable management system, including data entry and report generation.
  • Follows sound accounting procedures and produces error-free work.
  • Maintains accounting filing systems and assists with other clerical duties.
  • Processes transactions for accounts payable. Matches purchase order receipts to invoices.
  • Processes set amount of invoices with minimal errors. Follows a decision tree to determine how invoices should be processed.
  • Receives and reconciles vendor statements.
  • Works with vendors, internal/external customers to resolve invoice discrepancies.
  • Research issues via system lookups and communication with fellow family members and vendors
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned

Education:

  • High school diploma/GED equivalent or equivalent work experience

Experience:

  • No experience necessary
  • Must be able to communicate well with the general public
  • Establish and maintain an effective working relationship with management, vendors and co-workers and to work in a team environment

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Requires excellent follow up skills and must be detail oriented
  • Strong problem solving, reconciliation, troubleshooting, resolution, analytical, and customer service skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and maintain effective working relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint preferred
  • Proficiency in and Workday preferred

Working Conditions/Travel Requirements:

  • Must be able to work the normal business hours as set by management for the team that Family Member supports
  • Must be able to report to work timely and work both the times of day and total hours per week required as set by management
  • Some travel, both locally and long distances, (including air travel), to worksites, meeting sites, and other locations may be necessary
