The manager is responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, evaluating, maintaining, and overall administration of the Talent Development programs for project(s) and collaborating with leadership to assist in the below job functions.

Additional responsibilities could consists of providing safety training on forklifts, aerial work platforms, earth moving equipment, flagger and spotter training. This training will be provided to inspectors, managers and trainers. In addition, the position will provide assistance with curriculum development to reflect the OSHA, ANSI and company standards

Responsibilities

  • Initiate, develop, and maintain relationships with 3rd party training institutes, local industry trade organizations, associations/chapters, internal employment offices, high schools, colleges, and universities.
  • Lead Talent Development programs to include, but not limited to Learning Management System program(s), Case Management Programs, and Safety Information Monitoring Systems.
  • Ensure compliance and consistency by auditing various aspects of the project(s) training program(s) including, but not limited to records, documents, processes, and personnel.
  • Report the status of training to the Talent Development team and project(s).
  • Manage and facilitate corporate training programs.
  • Deliver training along with written and practical exams, utilizing approved company training curriculum.
  • Deliver training for site/project “Train the Trainers”
  • Read and understand equipment operator manuals, relevant to OSHA, ANSI, MSHA, DOT, and company standards for safe equipment operation and regulatory updates; Complete training logs and inspections as necessary.
  • Review and analyze incident trends.
  • Participate, as a SME, in related incident investigations.
  • Update training modules as necessary based on incident learnings and revisions in government/company policies/standards.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3-5 years experience working in an industrial construction environment
  • 2+ years experience in training
  • At least 2 years of presentation/facilitation delivery skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
