POSITION SUMMARY
Zachry Group is currently accepting applications for a Steward/Dishwasher at our Corporate Headquarters located in San Antonio, TX. The successful incumbent will perform duties which maintain that all dishes are clean, kitchen work area floors are swept and mopped, will maintain the cleanliness and organization of storage areas for dishes and food areas including cleaning storage racks. Will assist in putting away food products as they come in from food purveyors. Might assist with basic food prep when needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma/ GED
- Interpersonal skills and Customer Service Ability to thrive in a team-working environment
- Ability to understand and apply oral and written instructions.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in kitchen or restaurant preferred.
Employee will be required to communicate in person, via telephone, use of arm/hand steadiness, manual dexterity, finger dexterity, multi limb coordination, oral expression, and comprehension. May be required to lift, carry, and move objects up to 50 lbs. safely. Must be able to continuously stand, walk, stoop, reach, push, pull, and bend for long periods of time.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Will work in a general kitchen environment. Capable of operating and functioning in a fast-paced work environment. Must possess a vision (corrected or uncorrected) that allows for clear visibility from a distance of 20 inches or less. The above description covers the fundamental responsibilities of this position. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- To perform sanitation duties which maintain all dish and cook ware, cleanliness kitchen work area floors and surfaces -including shelfing and walls.
- Put away food items and supplies received to their appropriate storage location area.
- Thoroughly wash all dishes and kitchen equipment items.
- Inspect, sort, stack and deliver clean service ware to assigned place.
- Ensure that all items are organized properly.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen work areas, floors and food service equipment as designated by supervisor.
- Separates and removes trash and packaging materials to designated disposal.
- Organize and maintain all storage areas as directed by supervisor.
- Will be assigned weekly deep cleaning projects to be inspected by the manager
