Job Description:
Job Type: Hourly
Pay: $50-55K annually (depending on experience)
Schedule: Day Shift
Work Location: On-site with some hybrid flexibility
Summary:
As the HR Coordinator/Paylocity Specialist with OKIN Process, you would provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department, ensuring efficient execution of HR processes including onboarding, employee records management, payroll, benefits administration, onboarding, offboarding and compliance. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees and supports a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Manage all HR system and payroll changes in Paylocity and HR Tasks from Operations
- Assist with new hire onboarding, orientation sessions, and documentation
- Maintain recruitment tracking and hiring metrics
- Assist with offboarding processes including exit documentation and system access coordination
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee HR-related inquiries
- Support benefits enrollment, changes, and employee queries
- Assist with payroll data preparation and verification
- Coordinate leave management and attendance tracking
- Support audits, reports, and HR metrics as required
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
Soft Skills:
- Ability to empathize with others to better address concerns, foster a supportive environment, and build stronger relationships
- Ability to mediate disputes, address employee concerns, and maintain a positive work environment
- Ability to maintain accuracy in payroll processing
Required Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience working in Paylocity (2+ preferred)
- 1–3 years of experience in an HR support or administrative role
- Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Familiarity with timekeeping and payroll processing
- Ability to handle sensitive information securely and maintain employee privacy
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with payroll and benefits administration
- Familiarity with reporting and analytics
- Understanding of basic company performance management
- HR certifications are a plus
