Job Summary:

The Cash Management Analyst II is responsible for managing cash flow, optimizing liquidity, and ensuring efficient cash management processes to support our midstream operations.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Monitors and analyzes daily cash positions, forecasting cash requirements to ensure liquidity for operational needs.

• Assists with the administration of company bank accounts and corporate credit cards, including opening/closing company bank accounts acquired through acquisition, maintaining appropriate documentation, establishing bank services, and reviewing all cash management service contracts.

• Assists with cash disbursement duties including ACH, wire transfer, and/or check. Collaborates with accounting department regarding proper coding of such, identification and facilitation of process improvements within SAP and banks.

• Assists with Withdrawal Certificates with various Depositary Banks related to project finance requirements.

• Gathers daily cash inflows and outflows to determine any future borrowings or paydowns on debt revolver.

• Coordinates research and responds to banks and collection institutions regarding check validation.

• Develops and maintains cash management strategies to optimize cash reserves and minimize borrowing costs.

• Liaises with banking partners to manage accounts, negotiate terms, and ensure effective cash management services.

• Prepares and presents cash management reports to senior management.

• Identifies opportunities to enhance cash management processes and implement best practices to increase efficiency.

• Ensures compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements related to cash management activities.

• Works closely with accounting, treasury, and operational teams to align cash management strategies with business objectives.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial software; experience with SAP is a plus.

• Knowledge of banking products and cash management tools.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field

• 2+ years of experience in cash management or treasury

• SAP experience preferred, but not required

Certifications:

• Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) preferred

Travel:

Travel required locally or long-distance up to 20% of the time for work-related meetings and functions.

Equipment:

Computer, computer software programs and peripherals, resource materials and equipment, copier, fax, and other equipment applicable to the position.

Mental and Physical Demands:

General office and sedentary. Regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Walking, standing, stooping, bending, pulling, and pushing; occasional: lifting/carrying, pulling/pushing up to 30 pounds.

Maintain emotional control under stress, work with interruptions and deadlines.

May work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Environmental Factors:

Occasional exposure to biological hazards (communicable diseases, bacteria, insects, mold, fungi, etc.). Occasional exposure to weather related conditions when working in an outdoor environment.
